Payroll Officer / Executive

Responsibilities
1. Payroll Processing
Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on time /Calculate salaries, overtime,Incentive, commissions, and deductions / Ensure compliance with company policies and employment contracts
2. Statutory Compliance
Handle statutory deductions such as EPF, ETF, PAYE (or relevant local taxes) / Ensure compliance with labor laws and government regulations in Sri Lanka
3. Employee Data Management
Maintain accurate employee payroll records / Update employee information such as salary changes, promotions, and resignations / Manage leave records and attendance data integration
4. Payroll Reconciliation
Reconcile payroll reports with accounting records
5. Payslip & Reporting
Generate and distribute payslips to employees / Prepare payroll reports for management (cost analysis, headcount, etc.)
6. Employee Support
7. Systems & Documentation
Use payroll software or HR systems efficiently / Maintain confidentiality of payroll information
Educational Qualifications
- · Human Resource Management
- · Business Administration
- · Professional qualifications (added advantage):
Additional Qualification
- · Knowledge of payroll processes and Odoo systems
- · Understanding of labor laws and statutory requirements in Sri Lanka (EPF, ETF, PAYE, etc.)
- · Basic accounting knowledge
- · Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, payroll sheets, reports)
Experience Requirements
- · Payroll Officer: 1–3 years of relevant experience
- · Payroll Executive: 2–5 years of experience in payroll or HR/finance roles
