Assistant Manager - Finance

      We are seeking a dynamic, committed, and experienced finance professional to join our team as Assistant Manager – Finance at our manufacturing facility in Panadura. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of one of Sri Lanka’s leading bicycle manufacturers.

    Key Responsibilities    

·         Preparation of final accounts and financial statements

·         Tax planning, computation, and compliance (Income Tax, VAT, PAYE/APIT, Withholding Tax, and other statutory taxes)

·         Liaising with auditors and managing statutory audit requirements

·         Inland Revenue compliance and regulatory reporting

·         Payroll administration

·         Cash flow planning and treasury management

·         Budget preparation and financial analysis

·         Bank reconciliations and financial controls

·         Management of debtors and creditors

·         Inventory accounting and costing

·         Import documentation and related financial processes

·         Assisting the CFO in financial planning and strategic initiatives

     Requirements

·         Minimum 5 years’ experience in Accounting or Finance

·         CA Sri Lanka Part Qualified (Chartered qualification preferred)

·         Previous experience in an audit firm is highly desirable

·         Experience in the manufacturing sector will be a distinct advantage

·         Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan taxation and statutory compliance

·         Hands-on experience in statutory and external audits

·         Experience with Odoo ERP will be an added advantage

·         Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills

·         Proficiency in English, Sinhala, and Tamil

·         Male candidates are preferred due to the operational requirements and working hours associated with the role
